We've launched deej 1.7, with minor bugfixes and a new feature all the people requested: access to the ipod library playlists.

We've integrated the existing platlists in your ipod library into the track selector of deej, trying to keep it as simple as possible. Use the playlist editor in itunes or ipod, synchronize, and then open the track selector in  deej, using the playlist tab. We've tried also to keep the track selection filter and search while switching between decks, so you continuosly load tracks from the same scrolled and filtered list.

During easter, deej will be 80% off, to celebrate this feature most of our users have been requesting for a long time. 

iDJStuff has reviewed almost every dj application in the itunes app store.

We didn't get the best of the rates, but we're proud there's no big issue mentioned in the review, apart from some features present on the competitors' apps. The people at iDJStuff didn't mention deej i much cheaper than any of the competitors analyzed, thanks to all the people valuating the nice price-quality ratio of deej in the app store.

They take a tour through all features of deej, so you can take a look if you're thinking about buying it! The guy testing the product really know what he's talking about, so if you never understood how the virtual headset work in deej, you might as well take a look.

The team at inqbarna has been busy with deej 1.5.

We discovered a bug affecting iphone 3G (not affecting iphone 3GS). Unfortunately iphone 3G running iOS >=4.0 is unable to load 2 songs from the iphone library and all the necessary buffers needed for deej to work. We've disabled the access to the ipod library in this model, and all of you who have the iphone 3G, you will need to upload music using the old FTP method. You can find information about how to do it in the help document bundled in the application. Some other bugs have been solved as well. Finally with ACCESS TO THE IPOD LIBRARY!!

Your songs of the ipod library will appear in the track selector seamlessly. If you're a previous user of deej (previous versions using FTP), you can get rid of the old method whenever you want. If you're on iOS<4.1, deej still supports the FTP, since the API for <4.1 doesn't support access to the ipod library

Those songs you purchased from the iTunes store during last year, contain DRM, and can't be played with deej, the behavior is undefined since we can no longer purchase DRM'ed songs to test it

Unfortunately, we've detected an incompatibility with iOS <4.1. The app won't start. Those of you who are on iOS <4.1 Please do not upgrade, we are releasing a version with this problem solved in a couple of weeks
