InQBarna is a Barcelona-based start-up company that provides flexible, project oriented, R&D work teams for customers in the multimedia processing and communications industry.

The company members bring together expertise in research and advanced software development and can leverage off an extensive network of contacts and collaborators worldwide. Team members have years of experience working in commercial technology development, including research, patent development, prototyping, business development and fundraising.
We work closely with our customers to develop their concepts and research, leading to prototypes that can be evaluated for commercial deployment and production. In this process we work on algorithm development, testing, integration, prototyping, and help our customers develop demonstration systems.
Working under uncertainty we can define creative solutions, develop proof of concept systems for various platforms, and assist in the development of appropriate IP protection.
We can develop solutions for which a significant amount of R&D work is yet to be completed and have the capability to do so after evaluating the existing patent landscape

InQBarna has worked with several international early stage start-ups to develop core technology and prototypes; this work has been the basis for both fundraising and licensing for our customers.
For our North American and Asian customers, we offer a gateway to the European high technology market. We can facilitate the interaction with top universities, establish collaborative efforts with well funded European R&D projects and provide local customer support and business development.
We work with international distributed teams and develop tight collaborations (becoming essentially part of a team) while requiring only loose coordination (so that we can contribute our independent thinking to a project).
